Mascagnotta is the first beer that came out of our brewhouse: the one that got us known. The name is a family pet name — she is the brewery’s mascot. Pietro Mascagni knew something about firsts: late in life, so the story goes, he said he had been “crowned before he was even king”. We owe everything to our first.

Tasting notes
Pacific IPA, 6% vol. Amber, with a compact and lasting white head. Tropical fruit on the nose over a floral base; yellow fruit on the palate and a touch of sweet malt. It closes on a gently resinous bitterness.
